A 2006 study about cell phones and driving found that disorders associated with cell phone use while driving can be as deep as drunk driving.
Simply, conducting two complex tasks at the same time leads to the mismanagement of one of them, reports Telegraph.
An opinion published in Science Nordic this year has linked social networks and life issues focus of attention, has appointed our dependence on different structures of information and news updates as "pinball effect-it"
Another 2015 study shows that the brain takes time 15 to 25 minutes to return to where it was when he stopped to check an e-mail - and possession of a source of information in our pocket that will never stops It means that we are distracted by tasks and thought processes more than ever.
So that cell phones distract us is not any new news.
In 2013 it was reported that a survey by the National Association of Schoolmaseters Union of Women Teachersfound that 46 percent of respondents in the survey stated that they were distraction during class mobiles.
However, the effect of specific social networks that the brain and the distraction is being discussed as something that a lot more needs to be fought, reports Telegraph.
An article recently in The New York Times , written by computer scientist and assistant professor at Georgetown University, discussed social networks and how he avoids them for the sake of work.
"Consider that the ability to concentrate without being distracted difficult tasks is becoming something very valuable in an economy growing complication. Social networks weaken this ability as they are programmed to create dependency. The more you use social networks in ways that are designed to be used - mainly along the hours when you are awake - so the brain more tired and reaches the point of boredom.
So, as soon as this connection is established, it becomes more difficult to donate distraction difficult tasks that require indomitable, and the brain simply can not tolerate such long periods without a break. In fact, a part of me to avoid social networks comes from the fear that these services will destroy my ability to focus - which skills through live.
